This logger allows - as the BISON did in the 80's - to make seismic acquisitions in refraction and reflection using only a geophone and obtain a 24-channel SEG2 SEGY file.
For MASW you must add a geophone and follow the dynamic pattern to have the 12 or 24 channels needed for post processing
Very low cost and so is the weight, all in one backpack.

"Using the wireless W2Z seismograph is extremely convenient. The absence of cables allows for speeding up the installation and removal of the entire system and it also becomes easy to operate in difficult situations, such as in heavily vegetated areas.

The single-channel W2Z24 seismograph also allows even a single operator, given the modest equipment to be transported and the reduced weight, to reach inaccessible areas, or in any case areas that require a long walk to reach, thus carrying out seismic surveys where their execution would have been impossible or in any case very difficult.

Added to these aspects is the possibility of operating with any number of channels, up to a maximum of 24, a fact that makes the single-channel W2Z24 very versatile to make the most of the available spaces, even very small ones". From our customer....
